Scholarship in university UMM Indonesia: the registration are open.

Asia and African Students Scholarship (AASS) assisted by University of Muhammadiyah Malang, provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Asia and Africa to undertake full time undergraduate, master, and doctoral degree program at University of Muhammadiyah Malang.

University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) is one of the biggest private Universities in Indonesia. UMM has an outstanding reputation in education, research, and community services. Currently, UMM has 10 faculties with 38 undergraduate studies, 12 masters’ programs, 3 doctoral degree programs, and 5 professional programs.

1. The scholarship benefits generally include full tuition fees (Including the registration costs, examination, orientation, laboratories).

2. Year of Study

- Undergraduate program
(4 years for undergraduate program + 1 year for Indonesian language class).
- Master program
(2 Years for master program + 1 year for Indonesia language class).
- Doctoral program
(3 years for doctoral program + 1 year for Indonesian language class).

3. Eligibility:

To be eligible to receive a Scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be a minimum of 18 years age on August 31, 2019 for undergraduate program.
2. Be a maximum of 35 years of age on August 31, 2019 for master program.
3. Be a citizen of Asian or African countries. (It is intended for other continents in the specifics numbers).
4. Be able to provide the health certificate declared by the doctors or hospitals registered in their perspective countries.
5. Not be a citizen of Indonesia, hold permanent residency in Indonesia or be applying for a vise to live in Indonesia permanently.
6. Not be permanent or impermanent worker in Indonesia while studying.
7. After completing the scholarship programs, it is expected to come back to their home country.

4. Registration requirements and process for AASS scholarship (2019-2020)

1. Email to iro@umm.ac.id to get the registration form or try to directly look for it at PMB.umm.ac.id
2. Submit the passport size photos (4x6).
3. Copy of academic documents showing academic qualifications and other supporting documents, as well as translation (official and legalized) in English. Such as academic certificate, academic transcripts, recommendation letters, and other supporting documents.
4. Submit motivation letter.
5. Submit a copy of birth certificate and passport.
6. Submit the security vetting.
7. Submit the registration no longer than August, 17 2019.
