EUI Leadership Program in Italy 2023

Young leaders who want to cooperate at one of Europe's best institutes can apply to the EUI Leadership Program 2023 in Italy. This policy leader fellowship program is hosted by the European University Institute for international students to learn under the supervision of talented and professional leaders in their respective fields. The goal of this leadership fellowship is to promote Italy's culture and history throughout the world. Outstanding and talented young people are encouraged to participate in this leadership program. The mission of the institute is to promote leadership, gather young international students, and engage them in activities that foster leadership qualities.

Furthermore, the EUI leaders program enables fellows to share their perspectives and practical solutions on a global scale. This leadership fellowship program will help you improve your professional skills and advance your resume.

This leadership program would benefit international youth in a variety of ways. Fellows will have the opportunity to attend workshops, training sessions, skill development sessions, conferences, and other events designed to help them improve their professional abilities and work. The EUI Leadership program is a fully funded global network of policymakers in their early and mid-career stages. Fellows will also have the opportunity to meet with other fellows, policymakers, and academic professionals at the EUI. It will assist you in developing problem-solving and decision-making skills in order to overcome social, economic, and global issues that are impeding development and social well-being.

The duration of the fully funded fellowship program varies; there are scholarships available for five months (fixed-term for the first or second semester) and ten months. There will be no extension after acceptance. Fellows at the Transnational Governance School (STG) spend five months engaging with the School's community and eventually presenting their work to a larger audience, producing at least one publication, taking part in the School's training program, and attending EUI seminars and workshops. Fellows who stay for the entire academic year will work on major international initiatives with the potential to break new ground, frequently collaborating with other organizations to create a multiplier effect.

Eligibility Criteria:

• People of all nationalities can apply.
• Young professionals in their early or mid-career (e.g., in politics, the civil service, the media, and non-governmental organizations) can demonstrate professional experience and the potential for future competence in the policy realm.
• Fellows must be sincerely interested in policy concerns, especially global governance.
• They must be self-motivated and offer a detailed work plan for the fellowship to show what will be completed and how their work will result in a multiplier impact after the fellowship has ended.
• Curiosity-driven individuals are preferred.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.

Fellowship benefits:

• Each fellow will receive a monthly stipend of 2,500 euros.
• A housekeeping stipend of 300 euros will be provided every month.
• A monthly allowance of 200 euros is given to each autonomous child.
• The host institute will also cover medical expenditures/insurance.
• Fellows will also receive a travel allowance for economy-class airfare.
• Opportunity to learn about European countries, especially the history and culture of Italy.
