The Hansen Leadership Institute (HLI) brings together and trains future leaders from across the world in order to promote world peace and international cooperation. HLI provides first-class training and hands-on instruction in the area of peace-making which is an art that requires knowledge and subtle interpersonal skills. It also provides training in the principles, practices, and psychology of effective, ethical and visionary leadership. Hansen Fellows are trainned to be effective communicators and public speakers. There is an intense, 24/7 face to face community of three-week program which becomes a path to a vibrant virtual hub, and where Hansen alum engage, connect, and mutually support each other’s projects of peace and community building.

The Hansen Summer Institute is fully funded by the Fred J. Hansen Foundation. This includes international airfare, room and board, and all programmatic costs. Moreover, the Hansen Summer Institute 2024 will also polish potential leader's communication skills by providing them a chance to meet people of diverse cultures, mindsets and ideas. Eligibility Criteria
