This scholarship, offered by the Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) in Thailand, provides a fantastic chance for students aiming to pursue a master’s degree abroad. The fully funded scholarship covers master’s degree programs in Applied Biological Sciences, with a preference for students in Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, and Chemical Sciences. The scholarship program spans two years, contingent on satisfactory progress, and includes six weeks of preparatory courses before the master’s program begins.

The Chulabhorn Postgraduate Scholarship is merit-based and will be awarded to 15 outstanding international students, covering all expenses for their master’s at CGI. This comprehensive scholarship includes full tuition and academic fees, such as credit and lab expenses, refresher courses, enrolment fees, thesis fees, and thesis document creation. Additionally, it covers visa fees, round-trip airfare, accommodation, relocation allowance, book stipend, monthly living stipend, and health insurance. Eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be 30 years old or younger.
  • Applicants must have experience in research in a scientific laboratory.
  • They must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 in any of the given fields:
    • Pharmaceutical sciences or Pharmacy.
    • Sciences: Biology, Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Molecular Biology.
    • Medical Sciences: Medical Technology, Medicine.
  • Applicants from other fields can also apply.
  • Applicants must have experience in research in a scientific laboratory.
  • International applicants must provide a statement of purpose that highlights their interest in the field.
  • Furthermore, applicants must have an English proficiency report, preferably TOEFL or IELTS scores.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • Students awarded the Chulabhorn Postgraduate Scholarship will receive full tuition coverage.
  • The scholarship also covers various academic fees, including enrollment, laboratory expenses, credit fees, refresher courses, thesis fees, and the creation of thesis documents.
