ENS International Selection Scholarships

The ENS International Selection Scholarships in France are available to students from all nationalities. Each year, the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) conducts an international selection process to identify the most promising and motivated students from around the world who wish to pursue a master's degree at ENS International University in Paris. This program focuses on attracting talented international students to undertake degrees in either Arts & Humanities or Sciences at ENS, making it a highly competitive scholarship opportunity in the heart of Paris.

The ENS International Selection Master’s Scholarship is designed to last for three years. This merit-based scholarship evaluates candidates based on their educational achievements and overall academic profile. Each year, ENS selects ten international students for Sciences and another ten for Arts & Humanities. The scholarship package is generous, providing recipients with a monthly stipend of €1,000 for three years, as well as accommodation in one of the ENS campuses.

The École Normale Supérieure offers students the opportunity to begin their higher education at either the third year of their bachelor's program or the first year of their master's program. The specific degree a student can pursue will be determined by ENS based on their individual profile and academic strengths. To qualify for the ENS International Selection Scholarships for 2025, candidates must demonstrate exceptional academic performance.

The selection process consists of two stages: the first involves evaluating the applications, and the second includes oral and written examinations for candidates in Arts and Humanities, while applicants in the Sciences will only undergo oral exams. Only shortlisted candidates will participate in the examination process. By obtaining an ENS International Selection Scholarship, students gain access to a wealth of high-quality training opportunities, interactions with distinguished researchers, and an outstanding research environment, fostering their academic and professional growth.
