Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP) 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Hold citizenship from one of the eligible countries listed above.
- Must not hold dual citizenship with any developed country.
- Have earned a Bachelor’s degree at least three years prior to the application deadline.
- Possess a minimum of three years of work experience following the completion of their Bachelor’s degree.
- Be in good health, with no major medical issues that could affect their studies.
- Must not be closely related (by blood, marriage, or adoption) to anyone employed by the World Bank.
- Be currently employed in the development sector.
- Have accumulated at least three years of full-time employment in the development field after receiving a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Meet the specific eligibility requirements of the JJWBGSP participating program(s) and university(ies) to which they are applying.
- Fulfill all general eligibility conditions at the time of application (candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered).
- Must have received unconditional admission for the upcoming academic year to a JJWBGSP-participating master’s program before submitting the scholarship application.
- Applicants who were previously awarded the JJWBGSP but did not complete their studies or those who declined a previous JJ/WBGSP offer are not eligible to reapply.
