Eligibility Criteria:

Scholarship Benefits:

The UGRS is a fully funded scholarship offered by Universiti Brunei Darussalam for both domestic and international PhD students. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support, including the following benefits:

  • Full tuition fee waiver, including registration and acceptance fees at UBD.
  • A monthly subsistence allowance of BND 2,200.00 for up to 36 months.
  • Free on-campus accommodation (excluding administrative fees).
  • Economy-class return airfare for international students: one ticket to Brunei upon scholarship acceptance and one return ticket upon completion of studies.
  • Research and conference funding of up to BND 3,000.00 for overseas academic activities.
  • Visa fees for international students will be fully covered.
