The Sirindhon International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammsat University in Thailand opens opportunities to students from foreign country to study and obtain a master’s (2 year study) or doctoral degree (3 year study) which will start on January 2021, under the field of:

What does the scholarship cover?

  • - Living Allowance of 10000 Baht per month.
  • - Round trip economy travel expenses, with a maximum amount of 20000 Baht/student.
  • - Miscellanous expenses such as Visa fees, airport taxes, with a maximum amount of 10000 Bath/student.
  • - Full SIIT Tuition Fee and educational support (Full thesis support), excluding two things. First, the TU Matriculation fee (600Baht) which will be deducted once from the first payment for the living allowance. And second, TU Support fee (Around 855 Baht per semester) which will be deducted from the payment of living allowance on every first month of each semester.
  • - Health and accident insurance during the period of scholarship in Thailand.

Conditions:

  • - Not be a Thai Nationality
  • - Excellent academic record
  • - Meet qualification of SIIT graduate programs admission
  • - Have good health and conduct
  • - Additional condition requires that the student has to work 30 hours per semester, detailed information are available on the scholarship’s information on the website www.siit.tu.ac.th

Document required:

  • - Two strong recommendation letters ( at least one recommendation letter must come from an academic instructor or advisor)
  • - A statement of purpose ( At least one page )
  • - A Curriculum Vitae Or Resume
  • - An official transcript or academic transcript
  • - Bachelor’s degree transcript with at least GPA. 2.75 (For master’s degree applicants)
  • - Bachelor’s degree transcript, and Master’s degree transcript with GPA. 3.50 (For Doctoral degree applicants)
  • Certificate of English proficiency test withTOEFL(PBT 400+, or CBT 97+, or IBT 32+) or IELTS 4.5+ or TU-GET 400+ and TOEIC 500+.
    Note: The applicant can apply for the online application even though there is no any certificate of English proficiency test.
  • - Citizen ID card or passport
  • - Research paper, publication or certificates (if any)
  • - Recent photograph (1 x 1.5 inches’ size as jpeg. only)
