Part II: The different types of scholarships generally existing around the world.

This is the following article after the one " Information to know before applying to a scholarship " that you can find here.if you didn't read about it yet :)

Many of us have a desire to continue our study abroad but we often worry about the price that it can make and we all know that not each of us is able to pay the necessary for that. That is the reason why there is a "scholarship"which allows everyone to participate in the financial aid from a country, a university or even an organization to study abroad.

There are many countries and universities in the world that offer those scholarship, but we should also be aware that they all have their own requirements and often are looking for a special degree or even a specific profile meanwhile a person quite mature and has a specialty compared to the others.
Therefore, it depends on us to see which one suits to us and what are the characteristics that differentiate us from others in order to convince them to select us as awarded of the scholarship.
Here are some types of scholarships in general that we need to know before applying for a scholarship:

  • Full funded scholarship: which is one of the best as this scholarship fully covers all the necessary elements during your study at the stated location including tuition fee, textbooks and internet prices per month, the VISA during our study there, our daily life like food etc; the rent of our accommodation, the cost of research we need to do during our study there, and many more are part of the help that we will get when we receive a full funded scholarship.
  • Partial scholarship: this scholarship partially covers our needs during our study abroad. In other words, we will only get some amount of aid when we get the scholarship and the remainder will be our responsibility.
For example, only the tuition fees are free, but we pau our daily life and our visa; sometimes there is also the fact that tuition fees and visas are free, we can also get free accommodation but other than that, we are in charge. This scholarship comes in many forms, but it often shows itself as the ones just incentivized.
  • Specific study scholarship: a scholarship to study abroad that we can personally obtain from our home country or from a special organization. It means they are the sponsors, the ones who will cover all our needs during our study abroad.
  • Scholarship specific to a formation: a scholarship intended for new graduates or those who have just finished their studies and looking for professional experience in a special field. We can also take this experience abroad through this scholarship.

NB:
-The full funded scholarship sometimes covers the cost of the flight from our country to our place of study.
-The visa generally obtained during our studies in a country is a "student visa" which means that we do not have the permission to work during our studies in that country; however, some scholarships have a special condition that we work and study there at the same time.

These are usually the types of scholarships offered by countries or universities around the world, so be aware of the type of scholarships you are applying for and read the terms and condition carefully so as not to disappoint yourself. The category should always be included in the scholarship information (full, partial, specific or formation).
The types of scholarships that you can find on the "izaranet" page and this website izaranet.com include full and partial scholarships as well as formation scholarships. When there is a scholarship that we are offering here, we always emphasize what is covered by that scholarship, and what is not covered and should be personally insured by the student once there.
